How the MAILERS HQ Independent Sales Rep Program Works

MAILERS HQ works with independent, commission-only sales reps who bring relationships with businesses that buy shipping and packaging supplies. Commission rates are open to negotiation, and the signed agreement sets the terms for collected invoices, repeat orders and account protection.

Here are answers to the questions reps ask before getting started.

What does a MAILERS HQ rep sell?

Custom printed bubble, poly and kraft paper mailers, plus custom HDPE frozen food bags and pouches. Health, wellness and pharmacy work includes branded outer shipping mailers; food-contact or primary pharmaceutical requirements must be reviewed separately and are not implied by the program.

How much commission do reps earn?

Commission rates are open to negotiation based on your experience and book of business. Agree the applicable terms in writing rather than relying on a universal advertised percentage. Commission is based on net invoice amounts collected, excluding shipping, taxes and duties, under your agreement.

    When do reps get paid?

The representative agreement provides for monthly payment by the 15th of the month after MAILERS HQ receives the customer’s payment. Each payment includes a statement, and reps can view commission information in the portal. Unpaid customer amounts do not earn commission.

    Do reps earn on reorders?

Yes. The agreement covers repeat orders from registered accounts while it is in effect. Reps remain involved in supporting their customers, and commission depends on the customer’s payment and the agreed terms.

    How are my accounts protected?

Register a prospect in the portal before requesting a quote. Once confirmed, the account is protected for 12 months, with renewal while the customer orders at least once every 12 months under the agreement. Existing house accounts and accounts registered by another rep cannot be registered.

Is there a quota, fee or exclusive territory?

The program has no quota or territory fee. Territories are not exclusive; accepted account registration protects your customer relationships. We recruit across the US and review the states and industries you cover during your application.

    Can I carry other lines?

Yes. Complementary products such as labels, boxes, film and packaging equipment can fit alongside our line. Disclose directly competing lines and review the agreement’s restrictions before taking on a competing custom mailer or flexible packaging line.

    What support do reps get?

Reps get access to account registration, quotes, orders, commissions and sales resources in the portal, including sample requests. MAILERS HQ supports artwork and production and targets quotes within one business day where possible. Samples and product materials support buyer conversations.

What are the minimum order quantities?

Low-MOQ custom bubble mailers start at 200 units. Standard bubble mailers start at 5,000 units. Custom poly and kraft paper mailers each start at 10,000 units. Standard delivery is 8–12 weeks from artwork and proof approval to delivery from our China factory.

    Who sets prices?

MAILERS HQ provides the quoted price. Discounts require written approval. Agree the customer’s specifications, pricing and applicable commission terms before sending an offer.

    Is there a trial period?

The agreement provides for a 90-day trial, during which either party can end the arrangement with seven days’ written notice. After the trial, the notice period is 30 days. The agreement also addresses commission on eligible orders placed before termination or within 90 days after it and subsequently paid by the customer.

    How do I apply?

Complete the application on the MAILERS HQ reps page, including your legal business details, signer information, address, territory and current lines. After approval, you receive a portal link and review and sign both the confidentiality agreement and the independent sales representative agreement. Magic-link sign-in is available without setting a password.

From an approved application to a paid order

    1. Sign both agreements in the portal after approval.
    2. Manage leads and register an eligible prospect before quoting.
    3. Submit the size, material, quantity, artwork and delivery requirements.
    4. Once admin returns a quote, send the customer an email with a payment link.
    5. Follow payment and order progress in the portal as the order moves through production and shipping.

Card and Stripe ACH payments are confirmed through payment events. Wire and check payments require an admin to verify receipt and mark the invoice paid; requesting an offline payment is not the same as paying it.
